The actress and husband Tom Cruise, 45, are gearing up for daughter Suri's second birthday, and the couples are allegedly planning to spend £250,000 on a lavish birthday party.
"Tom is out to make Suri's second birthday a spectacle like no other child has ever had," a source is quoted as saying. US reports claim Tom wants to splash £30,000 on a cake, and hire acrobats from Cirque de Soleil costing £50,000. Last month it was reported the Cruises have asked Grammy and Brit Award winner, producer Mark Ronson, to DJ at Suri's party. Mark was the official DJ at Tom and Katie's Italian wedding reception in 2006, and Suri's parents were so impressed with his skills, that they have reportedly booked him in for Suri's birthday bonanza on 18 April. Meanwhile Katie recently spoke about how happy she is with husband Tom. She told In Style magazine: "When you fall in love, it's like time stops. I try every day to make him know how much I love him." And on having more children, she said: "I'd love to. But I'm in no particular rush."
